Longingly, the music wanders in search of its path in a wonderous world. The compositions of the pianist and vocalist from Zurich embody astute poetry and nuanced harmonies. Within her project BEWILDERED HEARTS, she presents the Zurichian Tobias Pfister on saxophone and the British drummer Phelan Burgoyne. With an intimacy often found in chamber music, the three musicians release their song and explore new dimensions through multifaceted improvisation. The subtle voice of singer Ursula Bachmann rises over the many variants in texture of the three instruments, while setting original features. Vulnerable at times, with mild strength at others. BEWILDERED HEARTS describes the moments, which flabbergast the heart.
